Job summary

Winston Taylor LLP in New York seeks an Associate Director of Total Rewards to lead compensation, benefits, and wellbeing strategy. You will design, deliver, and continuously improve global Total Rewards programs, partnering with London and other offices to align philosophy with local practices and regulatory requirements.

You will build relationships with firm leadership, manage a benefits team, and oversee audits and regulatory reporting, ensuring data-driven decisions and competitive programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (CEBS, CCP, SPHR or equivalent) preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience leading Total Rewards, Benefits, Compensation, or related HR functions.
• Must live within a commutable distance to a local office and be willing to come into the office 3–4 days per week.
• Demonstrated experience designing and administering comprehensive compensation and benefits programs.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Advanced analytical capability, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic business recommendations.
• Deep expertise in global benefits regulations, compensation compliance, and evolving industry best practices.
• Client-service orientation with a track record of resolving highly complex organizational challenges with innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Firm’s compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs.
• Partner with global Talent leaders to align Total Rewards across regions.
• Lead and develop the benefits team and coordinate with external consultants.
• Oversee annual audits and regulatory reporting (ACA, Form 5500, etc.).
• Drive Open Enrollment and communications about Total Rewards offerings.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and effective data analytics for program effectiveness.
