Job summary

RTX is seeking an Associate Director, Contracts in the United States to oversee a portfolio of U.S. Government contracts within the LMDS area, including FMS, FMF, and DCS.

The role requires managing a dispersed team and ensuring contract compliance, negotiations, and risk mitigation, with occasional travel. The position demands extensive experience in government contracting, strong communication, and the ability to navigate complex terms and conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 12+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 10+ years.
• Experience managing a team and government contract administration.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and certified cost and pricing data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations and company goals.
• Represent Raytheon in contractual transactions and build customer relationships.
• Support analysis of RFPs, proposal development, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they arise.
• Provide guidance on contractual rights, obligations and risk mitigation.
• Manage a geographically dispersed team.
• Occasional domestic and international travel (about once per quarter).
