Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manager, Contracts for the Naval Radar Systems program area. The role focuses on executing the SPY-6 Hardware Production and Sustainment extension and requires managing contract documents, negotiations, and stakeholder communications.

Ideal candidates have extensive U.S. Government contract experience under FAR/DFARS, FMS familiarity, and the ability to travel for customer meetings. The position emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and alignment with DoD contracting practices.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience in leading and/or administering U.S. Government contracts under the FAR, and / or DFARS (this may include proposal activity, contract negotiation, and/or change management)

Responsibilities

• Advise and/or represent the organization on contract negotiation and administration matters under the FAR/DFARS and FMS
• Facilitate and ensure constant communication and coordination with the internal/external customer program team
• Draft, interpret, and manage contract documents in support of Contracts and the Business Unit
• Respond to stakeholder inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
• Work autonomously with limited oversight and may provide input or guidance to lower-level professionals
• Multi-task routine and complex contract activities while responding to unplanned quick response requirements
• Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations and company objectives
• Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and develop business relationships
• Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions
• Identify, mitigate, and drive the resolution of contractual issues
• Travel anticipated to support customer meetings
