Job summary

OneMain Financial seeks an Associate Director to lead Auto Verifications, shaping strategy, processes and controls for quality, service and fraud prevention. You will guide managers, partner with Risk, Compliance, Technology and Finance, and drive performance improvements aligned with growth in auto finance.

You will influence senior leaders using data insights, while ensuring customer and dealer experiences stay strong in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role is On Site in Tempe, AZ.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in consumer lending, auto finance, verification, fraud, risk, or related financial services operations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing managers and high-performing teams.
  • Strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build effective cross-functional partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of risk, fraud prevention, compliance, and operational controls.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead through change, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop managers responsible for Auto Verification operations, fostering a high-performing and engaged team.

The Associate Director, Auto Verifications provides strategic and operational leadership for the Auto Verifications team, ensuring quality, service, productivity, and fraud prevention standards are consistently achieved. This highly visible role leads and develops managers, drives continuous improvement, and partners across the organization to strengthen controls, improve the dealer and customer experience, and support the growth of the Auto Finance business.
