Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join our team. You’ll oversee the full patient experience from exam and treatment planning to care delivery, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

We offer part-time or full-time schedules (8 AM–5 PM, 2–5 days/week), up to 36% of collections, and a benefits package with health/dental/vision insurance, 401K, CE opportunities, LifeMart discounts and Harvard Rounds Network

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Review records, x-rays, and diagnostic tests.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
