Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join our team. You will oversee the patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer part-time or full-time schedules (8AM-5PM, 2–5 days per week) and compensation up to 36% of collections plus comprehensive benefits; access to continuing education and Harvard Rounds Network opportunities.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret X‑rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics in patient treatment
• Keep up-to-date with new developments and continuing education.
