42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join a team focused on comprehensive patient care, from exam to treatment plan to delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position offers flexible scheduling (2-5 days/week, 8AM-5PM) with compensation up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health insurance, dental, vision, 401K, and opportunities for continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients' oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education
