42 North Dental in Torrington, CT seeks a General Dentist to join either part-time or full-time schedules. You will manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to care delivery, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education
