Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join as part-time or full-time. You’ll deliver comprehensive care from exams to treatment planning, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers earning potential up to 36% of collections, flexible schedules (2-5 days per week, 8am–5pm), and a benefits package including health and vision insurance, 401(k), CE opportunities and ongoing education with Harvard Rounds

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Hepatitis B vaccination verification.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and CE opportunities.
