Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an Associate Data Center Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment in data center environments. This entry-level role builds foundational skills in data center operations, staging, cabling, labeling, and documentation while learning from experienced colleagues.

You will work on equipment staging, rack preparation, cabling, inventory tracking, and routine MACD activities, with safety and quality standards guiding every task.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, or data center infrastructure.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use basic hand tools.
• Willingness to learn, follow procedures and document work clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and good collaboration/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and stage equipment and cabling.
• Assist with rack positioning and prep under guidance.
• Install rack accessories and perform basic patching per instructions.
• Support rack-and-stack activities and move/secure equipment safely.
• Document serial numbers, locations, and installation records.
• Follow MOPs, safety rules, and quality standards.
