Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by phone and email.
• Coordinate ocean export shipment scheduling, quotes, status updates, and follow‑up.
• Proactively inform customers of shipment progress, delays, or required actions.
• Schedule local pickups and deliveries with carriers.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment and customer data in logistics systems.
• Coordinate assignments and deliverables with ocean export operations teams.
• Address billing and collection‑related inquiries.
• Identify customer needs, resolve routine issues, and elevate complex matters.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and resolutions.
• Build positive working relationships with customers and internal teams.

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL

Compensation: $20.00/hr~ DOE; overtime eligible

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:15 PM

Other Details

• Previous logistics experience is not required; training will be provided.
• Supports ocean export shipments throughout the Midwest.
• Two-step interview process consisting of an initial virtual interview followed by an onsite interview.
