Job summary

Franklin Templeton is seeking an entry-level Associate Compensation Analyst to join the HR Compensation team in a hybrid role based in Baltimore, MD or St. Petersburg, FL.

You will analyze market data, maintain records, and assist with annual compensation processes while building a career in compensation. You will work with data, develop reports and dashboards, and support merit, bonus, and promotion cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in compensation, HR, finance, analytics, or related field (internship welcomed).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Experience with HRIS (Workday, SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze compensation survey data and assist with market pricing and benchmarking.
• Maintain and audit compensation data to ensure accuracy and integrity across HR systems.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and analyses to support compensation decisions, pay equity reviews, and program effectiveness.
• Support annual merit, bonus, and promotion cycles through data preparation, validation, and reporting.
• Assist with administration of salary structures, job architecture, and other compensation programs.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to provide compensation support and respond to compensation-related inquiries.
• Develop presentations, documentation, and communication materials for compensation initiatives.
