JLL in Mobile, Alabama is seeking an Associate Broker-level candidate for an on-site role supporting brokerage activities. You will prepare materials, run financial models in Excel, and help with client presentations and market research.

The program includes JLLU training for new associates, with senior brokers guiding business development and transaction support in a collaborative team environment.

• Strong computer orientation with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

What this job involves

This position requires a desire for success, strong work ethic , aspirations for career development in commercial real estate, and the aptitude to handle complex transactions . T his is a team-based role, which will require interaction with owners, C-Suite executives, and high level corporate real estate decision makers.

This position will report to Senior Team Leaders and will support brokerage activities by assisting and completing special projects as assigned to support quality decision making by clients and brokerage team. The ideal candidate must be articulate; detail-oriented and will execute on the below job functions with a high level of quality and accuracy .

• Prepare offering materials for new or existing assignments and pursuits utilizing effective work planning capabilities.
• Create sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools including macro-enabled financial models, running ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Assist with the preparations of presentation and pitch materials for new business pursuits.
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data for input into client deliverables and valuation models.
• Read and review real estate documents (i.e. leases, operating expense statements, environmental and engineering reports, appraisals, etc.) and prepare abstract reports for clients and prospective clients.
• Point of contact for tracking, management, reporting.
• Review and analyze client's quantitative portfolio data, legal documents, and other material as part of project due diligence process.
• Attend JLL University ("JLLU") which is a 13-week training, development, and networking program specifically for our new Associate Brokers.
• Support the senior brokers in initiating business development activities and taking initiative to outreach to new leads (cold calls, warm calls, emails, etc.)
• Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiation, evaluation, and documentation .
• Contribute to designated local market research requests: market snapshots, market overviews, quarterly market decks, topic specific research to support pitches and brokerage opportunities.

Required

• Entry level to 3+ years in commercial real estate
• Strong computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners
• Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload

Preferred

• Prefer a bachelor's degree in Business , Finance, Real Estate, or Related Field

Other Requirements

• State Real Estate License ( must have w ithin 90 days of hire)
• This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
