Job summary

East West Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to deliver high‑touch and high‑tech banking experiences. You will manage, retain, and acquire client relationships, identifying financial needs and offering tailored solutions using the bank’s digital tools.

You’ll receive ongoing training to grow your business knowledge, work to meet quarterly targets, and educate clients on online and mobile banking. The role emphasizes problem solving, consultative selling, and a client‑first approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, teller, sales experience in banking/financial services preferred.
• MLO experience within banking/financial service industry is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of branch operations.
• Consultative relationship sales with proven success in acquiring new clients and deepening relationships.
• Professional and thorough with strong follow-up skills.
• Able to adapt to new processes and technologies quickly.
• Strong familiarity with branch technology, mobile and online banking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Achieve quarterly and annual team/branch sales goals across C&I, CRE, SBA, mortgage, deposits, wealth management, international deposits/wires, and other products.
• Source and develop loans including HELOC, Residential, and Commercial Loans.
• Maintain knowledge of deposit, loan, and ancillary products and how to qualify.
• Assist customers with withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan/credit card payments, wires, and currency exchange.
