Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Trade school certificates or equivalent training with relevant experience considered.
• 0–3+ years in industrial automation, instrumentation and controls, or related field.
• Familiarity with PLC/DDC programming, HMI configuration, industrial networking, HVAC systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform product selection for common automation systems and assist in generating accurate control system drawings.
• Instantiate graphics and configure HMI/SCADA screens per company standards.
• Support basic PLC and DDC programming tasks using templates and standard libraries.
• Assist with testing, device verification, and troubleshooting during bench & site startup; travel up to 30% may be required.
• Maintain project documentation including IO lists, sequences, and test protocols.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in mandatory safety training (e.g., OSHA-10).
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards for right-first-time and on-time delivery.
