Job summary

Jobot is seeking an attorney with a strong background in labor and employment litigation to represent clients in discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, and wrongful termination matters. The role involves managing complex cases from inception to resolution, drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and participating in trials and arbitrations.

Candidates should have a JD, active Bar admission, and 4+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar and in good standing.
• 4+ years of experience in labor and employment litigation, including wage and hour, class action, single plaintiff, PAGA, and/or FEHA.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in labor and employment matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and wrongful termination.
• Manage a caseload of complex litigation matters from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trials/arbitrations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice and counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure high-quality client service.
• Participate in business development activities, including networking and client meetings.

Salary: $120,000 - $300,000 per year

• Manage a caseload of complex litigation matters, from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, arguing motions, and participating in trials and arbitrations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice and counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure the highest level of client service and satisfaction.
• Participate in business development activities, including networking, client meetings, and presentations.
