Job summary

Jobot in Newport Beach, CA is seeking an experienced labor and employment attorney to handle discrimination, wage-hour, and related matters. You will manage a caseload from inception to resolution, draft pleadings, conduct discovery, argue motions, and participate in trials/arbitrations while providing sound legal counsel.

Applicants must hold a JD, be admitted to the Bar, and have 4+ years of labor and employment litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar and in good standing.
• 4+ years of experience in labor and employment litigation.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and wrongful termination.
• Manage a caseload of complex litigation from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trials/arbitrations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound advice and counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure top-tier client service.
• Participate in business development activities, including networking and client meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in various labor and employment matters, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and wrongful termination.
• Manage a caseload of complex litigation matters, from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, arguing motions, and participating in trials and arbitrations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice and counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure the highest level of client service and satisfaction.
• Participate in business development activities, including networking, client meetings, and presentations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar and in good standing.
• 4+ years of experience in labor and employment litigation, including wage and hour, class action, single plaintiff, PAGA, and/or FEHA.
