Minimum of one year of experience, with strong negotiation and communication skills, and a solid understanding of no-fault law. The role involves handling daily court calendars, managing litigation and arbitration files through trial and hearing, drafting motions and pleadings, and appearing in court and arbitration.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and communication skills are required.
• Understanding of no-fault law and related procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily virtual court calendar in the specified venue.
• Manage litigation files from inception through trial.
• Manage arbitration files from inception through arbitration hearing.
• Prepare motions and memoranda of law.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery requests and responses.
• Draft reports and provide file analysis.
• Attend court and arbitration appearances.

A fast-paced plaintiff no-fault firm is seeking an experienced associate attorney to join our team in Long Island (Hempstead, NY area)

A minimum of one (1) year experience is required. Candidate should have strong negotiation, communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of no-fault law.

Position Requirements:

• Handling daily virtual court calendar in specified venue
• Handling and managing litigation files from inception through trial.
• Handling and managing arbitration files from inception through arbitration hearing.
• Preparing motions and memorandums of law.
• Preparing pleadings, discovery, demands and responses.
• Drafting reports and provide file analysis
• Court and arbitration appearances
