Job summary

PSI is seeking an experienced associate attorney for our fast-paced plaintiff no-fault firm in the Hempstead, NY area. The role requires a minimum of one year of experience, with strong negotiation and communication skills and solid knowledge of no-fault law.

Responsibilities include managing daily virtual court calendar, handling litigation and arbitration files from inception through trial, drafting motions, pleadings, reports, and appearing in court and arbitration hearings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a plaintiff no-fault setting.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills are required.
• Solid understanding of no-fault law and related procedures.

• Handle and manage arbitration files from inception through arbitration hearing.
• Prepare motions and memoranda of law.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, demands and responses.
