AmTrust Financial Services Inc. is seeking an actuary in the Workers' Compensation Pricing team. The role focuses on profitability, rate indications, and modeling insights within a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have ACAS or pursuit of FCAS, 4+ years of P&C experience, and strong skills in Excel/SQL; Python knowledge is a plus. Strong communication and relationship-building are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of property-casualty commercial lines insurance experience.
• Workers' Compensation pricing experience is strongly preferred.
• ACAS or pursuing FCAS.
• Strong analytical and communication skills are a must.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, and SQL. R or Python knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to build strong relationships and enrich team culture.

Responsabilités

• Calculate aggregate state rate indications.
• Analyze state profitability at a segmented level and identify opportunities.
• Recommend rate changes to balance profitability and growth.
• Provide actuarial support for rate filings ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Communicate results to Product and other partners to gain consensus on actions.
