Job summary

Cipriani & Werner P.C. is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney for our Philadelphia Office in Blue Bell, PA. The role requires handling cases from intake to trial, with a focus on general liability.

A JD from an ABA‑accredited school and PA license are required, with NJ bar preferred. Hybrid work arrangement is offered. The position offers a competitive salary range and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and active PA license (NJ bar preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of General Liability litigation experience required.
• Ability to manage files from start to finish without supervision.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction, product liability; trial experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new files and assess liability and strategy.
• Communicate with clients and coordinate case updates.
• Oversee discovery production and document management.
• Conduct depositions and prepare for trial.
• Research and prepare legal memoranda on varied areas of law.
• Prepare and argue discovery; handle substantive pre/post-trial motions and appeals.

Salary Range: $110,000.00 To $140,000.00 Annually

The Philadelphia Office in Blue Bell, PA is looking for a General Liability Associate Attorney to join our growing team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Evaluate new files.
• Client communications.
• Discovery production.
• Conduct Depostions.
• Research and prepare legal memoranda on various areas of law.
• Prepare and argue discovery.
• Substantive, dispositive pre- and post-trial motions and appeals.
• Attend pretrial listings.
• Motions and trial.

Position Requirements:

• Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in Pennsylvania; admission to the New Jersey Bar is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of General Liability litigation experience required.
• Ability to manage files from start to finish.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability required; Trial experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

This is a hybrid position.

The salary range for this position is $110,000-$140,000 and represents C&W’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
