Job summary

Cipriani & Werner P.C. is seeking a General Liability Paralegal for our Philadelphia Office in Blue Bell, PA. The role requires at least five years of Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal experience and a college degree or equivalent.

The candidate will independently prepare subpoenas, review discovery, manage IME records, draft motions, and perform docket and background searches in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. In-person opportunity with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have college degree or work experience equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal experience.
• Experience handling an attorney's case list.
• Experience in CMV defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Strong time management, organizational and communication skills; ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Schedule, notice, confirm, gather and produce all records related to IMEs, calendar deadlines with strong follow up skills.

• Perform verdict searches, docket searches, social media and background searches.

The Philadelphia Office in Blue Bell, PA is looking for a General Liability Paralegal to join our growing team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Must be able to independently prepare subpoenas, review and summarize discovery responses, deposition transcripts, and medical records completely.
• Schedule, notice, confirm, gather and produce all records related to Independent Medical Examinations, calendar relevant deadlines with strong follow up skills.
• Draft motions to compel, sanctions, for extraordinary relief and motions to enforce subpoenas; assist with general motion practice.
• Perform verdict searches, docket searches, social media and background searches.

Position Requirements:

• Must have a college degree or work experience equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal experience.
• Experience of proactively handling an attorney's case list required.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

This is an in-person position.

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 and represents C&W’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
