Job summary

Cipriani & Werner, P.C. in Blue Bell, PA seeks a General Liability Paralegal to support insurance defense litigation in a busy Philadelphia-area office. The role is full-time and in-person, with a salary range of $60,000-$70,000 per year.

Responsibilities include drafting subpoenas, reviewing discovery, scheduling IMEs, drafting motions, and conducting verdict and docket searches. Requires a college degree or equivalent experience and 5+ years in insurance defense litigation.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal experience.
• Experience proactively handling an attorney’s case list is required.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.

• Schedule, notice, confirm, gather and produce all records related to Independent Medical Examinations; calendar deadlines with strong follow-up skills.

• Perform verdict searches, docket searches, social media and background searches.

The Philadelphia Office in Blue Bell, PA is looking for a General Liability Paralegal to join our growing team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Must be able to independently prepare subpoenas, review and summarize discovery responses, deposition transcripts, and medical records completely.
• Schedule, notice, confirm, gather and produce all records related to Independent Medical Examinations, calendar relevant deadlines with strong follow up skills.

This is an in-person position.

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 and represents C&W’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
