Job summary

Cipriani & Werner P.C. in Blue Bell, PA is seeking a General Liability Paralegal to support our insurance defense team in a fast-paced, in-person role.

Responsibilities include preparing subpoenas, reviewing discovery, coordinating IMEs, drafting motions, and performing docket and verdict searches.Requirements include a college degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in insurance defense litigation, proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ProLaw, and strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Must have a college degree or work experience equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal experience.
• Experience of proactively handling an attorney’s case list required.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

• Schedule, notice, confirm, gather and produce all records related to Independent Medical Examinations, calendar relevant deadlines with strong follow up skills.
• Draft motions to compel, sanctions, for extraordinary relief and motions to enforce subpoenas; assist with general motion practice.
• Perform verdict searches, docket searches, social media and background searches.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

This is an in-person position.

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 and represents C&W’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
