Job summary

Cipriani & Werner P.C., a multidisciplinary law firm, seeks a General Liability Associate Attorney for the Philadelphia Office in Blue Bell, PA. This hybrid role requires a PA bar license, a minimum of 5 years in General Liability litigation, and the ability to manage files from start to finish.

Experience in MV defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, and product liability is preferred; trial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and active PA license in good standing; NJ bar preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of General Liability litigation experience.
• Experience in MV defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction and product liability; trial experience preferred.
• Self-motivated, independent thinker with excellent time management and communication skills.

The Philadelphia Office in Blue Bell, PA is looking for a General Liability Associate Attorney to join our growing team.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Evaluate new files.
• Client communications.
• Discovery production.
• Conduct Depostions.
• Research and prepare legal memoranda on various areas of law.
• Prepare and argue discovery.
• Substantive, dispositive pre- and post-trial motions and appeals.
• Attend pretrial listings.
• Motions and trial.

Position Requirements

• Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in Pennsylvania; admission to the New Jersey Bar is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of General Liability litigation experience required.
• Ability to manage files from start to finish.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability required; Trial experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

This is a hybrid position.

The salary range for this position is $110,000-$140,000 and represents C&W’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
