Job summary

One Vision seeks an Assistive Technology Coordinator to combine technology, problem-solving, and person-centered support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assess needs, identify solutions, coordinate trials, and train teams to effectively use assistive tools across services.

The role emphasizes in-office work with opportunity for remote arrangement and travel to homes and community settings as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years supporting individuals with disabilities, including collaboration with stakeholders on assistive tech.
• Knowledge of assistive technology and smart home systems.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assistive technology assessments to understand needs and goals.
• Identify meaningful technology solutions with individuals, families, and teams.
• Coordinate technology trials, purchasing, installation, and implementation.
• Train users and provide ongoing troubleshooting and support.
• Maintain documentation of assessments, recommendations, and follow-up.
• Research emerging assistive tech and best practices.
