Job summary

Allied Instructional seeks a Remote B/LV Assistive Technology Specialist to conduct AT assessments for students with vision impairments. This is a contractor role across multiple states, requiring CATIS certification or commensurate training and at least 2 years of school-based experience.

Qualifications

• School-based work experience in assistive technology.
• Hold a valid CATIS certification from ACVREP or commensurate training.
• Working knowledge of braille.

Responsibilities

• Conduct AT assessments and write AT reports for students with vision impairments.
• Assist in development and implementation of AT services and IEPs.
• Provide professional development to teachers and service providers on educational AT.
