Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking an Assistive Technology Specialist to support vocational rehabilitation for individuals with disabilities in Oklahoma City. The role focuses on evaluating work capacities and providing technology-based accommodations to improve home, work, and community participation.

This full-time position requires travel throughout Oklahoma, delivering assessments, reports, and training while serving as a subject matter expert on assistive technology.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field such as vocational rehabilitation, rehabilitation counseling, or related program.
• Experience with assistive technology assessments and report writing.
• Willingness to travel across Oklahoma and conduct home/work site assessments.

Responsibilities

• Complete assistive technology assessments for home, vehicle, job sites, and employment needs.
• Prepare detailed written reports with recommendations and vendor lists.
• Provide consultation on purchasing, installation, and training of assistive technology.
• Travel as required and collaborate with partners across agencies and communities.
