Job summary

Life Time is seeking PT-Stretch Specialists to support members with branded Assisted Stretch and Recovery sessions, helping them feel and move better. You will build personalized programs, lead stretch and recovery sessions, and promote sessions and other personal training services.

You’ll conduct pre-participation screenings, keep thorough documentation, stay current on certifications, and provide excellent customer service to ensure members feel competent, confident, and connected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified personal trainer required.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Knowledge of assisted stretching and recovery techniques.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Leads clients through assisted stretch sessions using techniques like PNF and contract-relax.
• Leads recovery sessions using assisted stretching, Hypervolt percussion, and breathing drills.
• Reads, watches, and engages in all required training associated with the role.
• Conducts stretch and recovery demos for new clients including pre-participation screening, Medical History, Lifestyle questionnaire, and goal setting to assess and recommend stretching programs.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, educate, and motivate members.
• Promotes and sells stretch session programs and other personal training services.
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
• Remains current on credentials and continuing education to advance throughout the levels program.
