Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to work alongside the Store Manager, coaching a high-energy team and driving salon growth. You will help recruit, schedule, and develop staff while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail, customer service, operations, or management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer and POS skills; reliable transportation.
• Able to stand 7+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Store Manager to run a great salon.
• Lead and coach Wellness Consultants and Salon Support team.
• Recruit, schedule, and develop great people.
• Deliver customer service that keeps clients coming back and resolve concerns professionally.
• Keep the salon clean, stocked, and compliant with health standards.
• Grow sales and control labor and costs.
• Partner with the Store Manager on promotions and growth.
• Handle cash, deposits, and customer card data securely (PCI training).
