Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is hiring a store supervisor to lead a team, sustain excellent customer service, and drive sales in a busy retail tanning environment.

The role includes a 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics, plus responsibilities in hiring, developing staff, and maintaining a positive atmosphere for customers and employees.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour plus commission, with benefits such as health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others.
• Able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Attend a 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics.
• Interview, hire, and develop store staff.
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers.
• Meet self-performance metrics and help employees meet their metrics.
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales.
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements.
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance.
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
