Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Vitamin Manager to guide a busy vitamin department with a strong focus on customer education and service. You will supervise staff, manage orders and inventory, and coordinate merchandising and sales strategies to maximize department profitability.

The role demands a proactive lead with excellent communication, flexibility, and organizational skills, capable of training and motivating the Vitamin team while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with 1 year of vitamin/homeopathy experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Willingness to flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude with the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication and teamwork, with the ability to take directions.
• Ability to perform housekeeping and comply with safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and merchandising the Vitamin department for productivity and profit.
• Handle ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver quality products and exceptional customer service.
• Ensure customers receive guidance on vitamins, supplements, and health products.
• Maintain knowledge of vitamins and related products and provide guidance without prescribing.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the team.
• Unload deliveries and ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Support in keeping the department clean and organized.
