Job summary

UC San Diego Health in San Diego is seeking an Assistant Training Program Coordinator to support health education activities at Hillcrest. The role is a 100% onsite, temporary assignment through TES, lasting roughly 4–9 months, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Six years of related experience OR a Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience.
• Basic knowledge of policies and regulatory requirements in health professions education.
• Knowledge of educational technology and systems; ability to troubleshoot related issues.
• Strong communication, written and verbal; service oriented and responsive to inquiries.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships within the department and with learners.
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage complex faculty calendars/schedules with precision.
• Investigative, data analysis and reporting skills; ability to generate and audit reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of professional health educational activities.
• Apply knowledge to support learners in health education programs.
• Coordinate program operations including curriculum, scheduling, databases, compliance, and accreditation.
• Serve as the point of contact for learners, rotations, and related clinical activities.
