Ivy Kids LLC in Johns Creek, GA is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers in creating a safe, nurturing classroom. You will help implement curriculum activities, supervise routines, and monitor progress while maintaining records and following health, safety, and licensing standards.

This role emphasizes strong communication with families, adherence to company policies, and collaboration with staff to foster development and positive relationships with children.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for age, education, and experience.
• Must be able to repeatedly bend, stoop and run; must repeatedly lift and carry children up to 50+ pounds.
• Must maintain at least 24 hours of training each year.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing curriculum activities.
• Supervise daily classroom routines and monitor developmental progress.
• Maintain accurate records of developmental milestones and attendance.
• Provide daily communication to parents and families.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with staff to support children's social and emotional growth.
