Job summary

Ivy Kids LLC in Johns Creek, GA is seeking an infant lead teacher to plan and implement daily curriculum, oversee personal care, and guide assistant teachers. You will coordinate activities, monitor developmental milestones, and communicate with families to support a nurturing classroom.

The role requires adherence to Ivy Kids standards, state guidelines, and ongoing professional development, with opportunities to train new staff and contribute to a safe, engaging early learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repeatedly bend, stoop and run.
• Must be able to lift and carry children up to 50+ pounds.
• Lead teacher must maintain at least 24 hours of training per year.
• Ability to interact effectively with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the Ivy Kids curriculum activities.
• Maintain records of each child’s developmental milestones, accidents, anecdotal records, and attendance.
• Ensure ASQs are conducted on time.
• Provide daily communication to parents via the parent app.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Supervise and train assistant teachers in the classroom.
• Follow state standards and Ivy Kids procedures.
