Job summary

Ivy Kids - Cross Creek is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in a safe, nurturing learning environment. You will assist with curriculum activities, supervise routines, monitor progress, and maintain records while fostering social and emotional growth.

Responsibilities include health and safety compliance, parent communication, and upkeep of classroom spaces. A strong focus on developmentally appropriate practices and partnerships with families is essential.

Qualifications

• Must meet or exceed state licensing requirements for age, education, and experience.
• Must be able to repeatedly bend, stoop and run; lift and carry children up to 50+ pounds.
• Maintain at least 24 hours of training per year.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Implement curriculum activities and supervise daily classroom routines.
• Monitor developmental progress and maintain accurate records.
