Job summary

Babilou Family US in Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support a Certified Teacher, foster a safe, nurturing classroom, and contribute to sustainable early learning.

You will assist with daily lesson plans, supervise children, engage with families, and participate in training and consistent teamwork within our Sustainability Education framework.

This role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and growth, with onboarding through Babilou Family Academy and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with young children in childcare or educational setting.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom safety standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and learning experiences that support whole-child development and introduce age-appropriate sustainability concepts.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and environmentally responsible classroom environment by following sustainable routines related to materials, storage, and resource use.
