Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support Certified Teachers in delivering developmentally appropriate, sustainability‑minded learning experiences across our Little Sprouts locations in Massachusetts.

You will help maintain an eco‑friendly classroom, supervise children, and collaborate with families and staff to foster growth, safety, and environmental awareness in a dynamic school setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with young children in childcare or education setting.
• Knowledge of child development and safety standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and eco-friendly classroom environment.
• Supervise children during activities, meals, and outdoor time; adhere to safety protocols.
• Engage families with sustainability-focused communication and events.
• Attend required trainings and contribute to classroom improvement.
