Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support Certified Teachers in delivering meaningful learning experiences. You will help maintain an organized, eco-minded classroom and foster respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

The role emphasizes ongoing professional development, sustainable practices, and collaboration within a team dedicated to high-quality early education. Position supports year-round operations in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children in childcare or educational settings.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom safety standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and learning experiences.
• Supervise children during activities, meals, transitions and outdoor experiences.
• Greet families and support sustainable communication practices with families.
• Attend required trainings and support ongoing professional development and sustainability initiatives.
