Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with young children in childcare or education settings.
• Knowledge of child development and classroom safety standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and support the Certified Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified Teacher in daily lesson plans and learning experiences for whole-child development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, eco-minded classroom and sustainable routines for materials and storage.
• Supervise children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor experiences; report any concerns per state law.
• Greet families, support sustainable communication and consistent messaging from the Certified Teacher.
• Attend required training and collaborate with the team to enhance classroom systems and sustainability initiatives.
