You’ll provide the highest level of guest service and satisfaction. Your positive attitude and can-do spirit will make all the difference as you help guests create positive, lasting memories through great eating experiences. Responsibilities include:
- Providing and leading the team to deliver superior guest service.
- Motivating and energizing ambassadors regularly.
- Opening and closing facilities according to established procedures.
- Providing menu and park information to guests.
- Monitoring equipment and reporting issues.
- Ensuring meal and rest periods are provided to ambassadors as per company policy.
- Setting up and monitoring queue lines.
- Recording money recaps and completing station task lists.
- Ensuring food presentation and portioning meet standards.
- Monitoring food and equipment temperatures in accordance with HACCP plan and taking appropriate actions.
- Supervising and training ambassadors.
- Authorizing ambassador over-rings.
- Monitoring food waste and educating ambassadors on waste procedures.
- Carrying out supervisory responsibilities including training, planning, assigning work, performance assessment, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
- Representing the park enthusiastically with a positive attitude and high energy.
- Preparing and serving food to park guests.
- Cleaning facilities, operating kitchen equipment and cash registers, and assisting with training and supervision.
- Responding to guest needs to ensure excellent service.
- Performing other duties as assigned and assisting other park areas as needed.
What it takes to succeed:
- One to three months of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Successfully passing the ServSafe exam prior to starting.
- Passing alcohol training upon selection.
- Passing Food Handlers test and maintaining a valid Food Handlers card.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to use hands and fingers, reach, handle, feel, stoop, crawl, or kneel regularly.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
