What You Get To Do

You’ll provide the highest level of guest service and satisfaction. Your positive attitude and can-do spirit will help guests create positive, lasting memories through great dining experiences. This position also:

  • Leads the team to deliver superior guest service
  • Motivates and energizes ambassadors regularly
  • Opens and closes facilities following procedures
  • Provides menu and park information to guests
  • Monitors equipment and reports issues
  • Ensures meal and rest periods are provided to ambassadors
  • Sets up and manages queue lines
  • Records cash recaps and completes station tasks
  • Ensures food presentation and portioning meet standards
  • Monitors food and equipment temperatures per HACCP plan and takes action
  • Supervises and trains ambassadors
  • Authorizes over-rings for ambassadors
  • Monitors food waste and educates staff on waste procedures
  • Performs supervisory responsibilities per policies and laws, including training, planning, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving issues
  • Represents the park positively with high energy and commitment
  • Prepares and serves food to guests
  • Cleans facilities, operates kitchen equipment and cash registers, and assists in training
  • Responds effectively to guest needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Supports other park locations as needed
What It Takes To Succeed
  • One to three months of related experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Successful completion of ServSafe exam before starting
  • Ability to pass Alcohol training upon selection
  • Ability to pass Food Handlers test and maintain a valid Food Handlers card
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Use of hands and fingers, reaching, handling, feeling, stooping, crawling, or kneeling
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
