Assistant Supervisor, Culinary Operations

Overview

Are you passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences and working in a dynamic environment? At our water park, you'll play a key role in delivering memorable moments for our guests. We are looking for enthusiastic, positive, and hardworking individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier guest service and ensure guest satisfaction
• Lead and motivate team members (ambassadors)
• Open and close facilities following established procedures
• Provide guests with menu and park information
• Monitor equipment and report issues
• Ensure proper meal and rest periods for staff
• Manage queue lines and station operations
• Record financial transactions accurately
• Maintain food presentation and portioning standards
• Monitor food and equipment temperatures per HACCP guidelines
• Supervise and train ambassadors
• Authorize over-rings and monitor food waste
• Perform supervisory duties including training, scheduling, performance management, and conflict resolution
• Represent the park positively, maintaining high energy and commitment
• Assist with food preparation, cleaning, and equipment operation
• Respond to guest needs promptly and professionally
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist at other park locations as needed

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 months of related experience or equivalent education
• Successfully pass ServSafe exam before starting
• Complete Alcohol training upon selection
• Pass Food Handlers test and maintain valid certification
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Manual dexterity and physical agility
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
