Job summary

Richard is seeking an Assistant Superintendent in Tuskegee, AL to oversee daily site construction activities and manage field personnel to keep the project on schedule and within budget. The role reports to the Project Manager and includes a housing allowance for relocation.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years’ experience with a general contracting company.
• Understanding of construction materials, means, methods and building systems.
• Proficiency with RFIs, change orders, schedules and project documents.
• Clear communication to home office, Owner, Subcontractors and running owner meetings.
• Willingness to work across shifts in hospital construction environments.
• Background check and drug test eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day field operations on the project.
• Coordinate with project team to maintain schedule, safety, budget and quality.
• Plan and organize work per contract documents.
• Monitor field productivity and maintain logs.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure timely, safe completion.
• Coordinate with Safety Manager to meet safety goals.
