Richard Group in Bedford, MA seeks an Assistant Superintendent to oversee daily site construction activities and manage field personnel to meet schedule and budget. Expect high quality, safety, and coordination across trades while reporting to the Project Manager.

This full-time role offers a housing allowance for relocation, annual salary commensurate with experience, and benefits. The ideal candidate will live near the project or be willing to relocate within the United States for multiple

Qualifications

• 0–3 years' experience with a general contracting company.
• Thorough understanding of construction materials, means, methods and building systems.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office, Adobe and Bluebeam.
• Ability to develop, implement, and comprehend RFIs, potential change orders, total project schedules, 3-week look-aheads, and other project documents.
• Ability to clearly communicate to home office, Owner, Subcontractors and experience running owner meetings.
• Availability to potentially work on any shift, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.
• Experience with Davis Bacon-Prevailing wage or Union projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of the day-to-day field operations.
• Coordinate effectively with project team to maintain schedule, safety, budget and quality control.
• Plan and organize project work per contract documents.
• Monitor field productivity.
• Maintain documentation: change orders, RFIs, submittals.
• Maintain customer relationships.
• Ensure timely and safe project completion per budgets.
• Coordinate with Safety Manager to meet safety goals.
