Job summary

Amica Talent Limited is partnering with an established US-based EPC to hire an Assistant Project Manager for electrical substation projects. This role offers remote working within the United States and up to 25% travel depending on project needs.

You’ll oversee the full project lifecycle—from engineering and procurement to construction, commissioning and closeout—coordinating engineers, contractors, suppliers and utilities to keep projects safe, on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience on electrical substation projects and exposure to construction delivery.
• Understanding of electrical systems and substation components.
• Familiarity with standards (NESC, NEC, IEEE, ANSI).
• Background in engineering or construction management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of electrical substation projects.
• Manage schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables.
• Coordinate engineers, contractors, vendors and stakeholders.
• Ensure activities stay on track and on budget.
• Support site visits, inspections and quality control.
• Monitor progress and project documentation through closeout.
