Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. This temporary role trains under Elite/Master Stylists to deliver quality services and guest experiences.

During the first months, you’ll support a lead stylist and learn salon procedures. In months 4–6 you’ll begin serving guests of your own, while continuing professional development and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required to perform professional salon services.
• Proficiency in haircutting, coloring, styling, and makeup is preferred.
• Strong guest service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to store sales and guest loyalty goals.
• Assist mentor stylist with hair services and product recommendations.
• Perform hair services after month three and support in-store events and promotions.
• Maintain sanitation standards and follow Ulta Beauty procedures and safety guidelines.
