Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Assistant Stylist for a temporary role. You will engage guests, consult on hair care, and recommend products and services. During the first months you will be mentored by an Elite or Master Stylist to develop skills, performance, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Knowledge of hair techniques including haircutting, coloring, styling, and texture is desired.
• Ability to learn and apply salon product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and consult on hair care needs.
• Support and train under Elite or Master Stylist during first months.
• Perform hair services after month three (designs, cuts, color, styling).
• Demonstrate products and drive guest sales.
• Assist with in-store events and promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
