Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring an Assistant Stylist in a temporary role to engage guests, consult on hair care, and recommend products and services. The position starts under the mentorship of an Elite/Master Stylist for the first 3 months, focusing on guest service, performance, and productivity.

During months 4–6, the assistant will begin serving guests independently while continuing professional development and staying current on industry trends and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Strong knowledge of haircutting, color, styling and makeup basics.
• Ability to build and maintain a client base.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and contribute to meeting store goals for retail and services.
• Support mentor stylist in sales and productivity goals for hair services and products.
• Assist with foils, cleansing, color applications and blowouts as needed.
• Keep salon clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
