Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring an Assistant Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. This temporary role prepares you for a stylist position, with mentorship from Elite or Master Stylists during months 1-3.

During months 4-6 you’ll begin servicing guests of your own while continuing to perform demonstrations, assist with events, and stay current on trends. Ideal candidates are passionate about beauty, deliver exceptional guest service, and eager to learn

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required.
• Familiarity with salon techniques and products.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and help meet store goals in retail and service sales.
• Support lead stylist with hair services, color, and retail recommendations.
• Perform hair services after three months including cuts, color, blowouts.
• Conduct product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Assist in in-store events and promotions for guest satisfaction.
• Stay informed on trends and product benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain regular attendance and store cleanliness.
